Gregor Schrott

As a member of the BOSCH Power Tools Team, Gregor Schrott leads the global brand management for accessories as well as marketing services and market research. With its brands Bosch, Hawera, Skil, Dremel, RotoZip, Freud, Vermont American, and many more, Bosch is the world market leader for power tools and power tool accessories. In 2012, its workforce of 19,000 generated sales of 4 billion Euros, 90 percent of which outside of Germany. Bosch manufactures power tools for the building trade, industry, and do-it-yourselfers (DIY-ers). Pior to this, Gregor held various positions at Hero Group including Business Unit Leader Switzerland (2010-2012), Marketing Director for Canada (2008-2009) and Director Global Business Development (2007-2008). Gregor started his FMCG career at Procter & Gamble in Brand Management (2005-2007) and Trade Marketing (2004). He studied at Frankfurt University and the Massachusetts Institute of Techology (MIT) and holds a degree in Business Administration. In 2005, his PhD thesis “Enhancing Performance in Virtual Knowledge Networks” has been awarded by the Donors’ Association for the Promotion of Sciences and Humanities in Germany.
